Bacteriostatic water in spore syringe
    #20039961 -

Hi,
Im just wondering whether I can use bacteriostatic water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol and  0.9 % sodium chloride when I do my spore syringe cause Im not sure if alcohol would actually kill the spores .
Does anyone know?
Many thanks
Mig

My initial inclination is to say no, it won't hurt the spores because it doesn't do anything against mold spores, but I don't have much direct experience in this.  Is there a reason why you don't like the distilled/RO water typically used for this purpose?

Thanks for the reply, I just bought this type of water and didnt know it could also be made with distilled water. I just dont want to start this long process of spore cultivation and find out later on that wasnt the right water.
