Possible Contaminated Spore Syringe?

I order a few spore syringes from the Spore Bank. One was B+ cubensis strain, but it has some weird stuff in the syringe. There appears to be two or three large blobs of something that doesn't dissolve in water, like oil. There is a lot of black material suspended in the blobs. Those aren't spore are they? The other syringes look normal to me. I can try and get a picture soon, but does this sound like contamination to you guys? Thanks.

I thought that a spore syring could only carry spores and since the water has no nutritional value mycelium couldn't grow.

It's just blobs of spores -- when spores are really fresh, they don't wet properly, and the way that they interact with eachother makes 'em clump into little balls. Shake that SOB up and you'll have no probs.
