What kind of milk do you drink?

Personally, I don't drink milk at all. In my view, only infants drink milk from their mothers. We aren't supposed to drink milk later in life yet alone the hormone filled milk of another animal. But that's just me.

So I ask you freaks out there that drink milk, what kind do you drink?

I only drink milk on rare occasions. In my breakfast cereal I use soy milk.

2% when I drink it.  I try not to though.  After drinking it on a dissociative trip and tasting the sour milk in my system with an amplified sense of taste, I was turned off.  Kind of a gross thought, and I don't want anyone smelling my sour milk breath.

I've never heard of 3.25% milk. Is that Canadian for whole-fat milk?

If so, that's what I drink, and I love it. If you're gonna drink milk, at least drink milk that isn't diluted and tastes of nothing.

On a serious note though. If for some dietary reason you can't drink milk but like it, Almond milk is a pretty awesome substitute. A lot better than soy milk IMO.

homogenized i believe, and yes whole-fat.  i don't like it.  it't not just fattier but i find it has a different taste altogether.  maybe it's different in 'murica. :shrug:

skim milk is the only milk that will thy thirst...skim milk is also great for an after work out drink and it mixes better with protein powders

Yea, milk in the US is labeled as Whole Fat/2%/1%/Skim. I never new that it was 3.25% fat.

Almond Milk, Hemp Milk, Coconut Milk and Rice Milk...all good for making coffee drinks too.  Had to get away from dairy, it was fucken my system up

This thread got me thinking about all the hormones cows are given nowadays, and how it comes in the milk that you buy at the grocery store which can't be good for you.

As a young child in Brazil I remember we used to have a lady deliver milk and eggs every other morning to where I lived.
The taste of the milk and eggs was so good and distinctly different than what you can buy at supermarkets now that I can still remember the taste.

So I was wondering. Does anyone here still get their milk from an actual local farm?
