weilii time-a-year (pics)

went out today and picked a little over sixty beautiful weilii. they really seemed to be fruiting in the pine straw right now opposed to grass....although i did find a good amount in the grass.

here's a few pics....

mmm..nice job looks tasty...i need a nice lump of em..i found like 5 yesterday..oh well ..better than no mush! ..do you happen to know what the mushrooms are that grow near the weilii alot of time...kind of resembles them except they have very black gills...im working on a spore print now..but they always get my hopes up from a good distance...(its a noticeable difference close up)..ok well nice weilii and good pics!...later...

nice find sub! we must be picking the same spots or something because a few hours ago i went to check the patches that were the most plentiful last season and there were no traces of them, just a few overturned psythrellas(sp?)

Nice pics. I went out today and only found clusters of brown furry mushrooms, well I am going north of Atlanta to see if it is better then here. It's nice to know others are finding them.
