I don't use it too often, but I do absolutely love it & I would be truly saddened to see it go.
I'll probably be stocking up end up june - early july after my next harvest & maybe try to get a cutting to plant.

Hey thanks for chiming in man. You can find cuttings or saplings very easily shipped overnight right now inside the US.

You're absolutely right about certain people like us using it as medicine, and not abusing it. I mean, obviously some people are going to abuse it, but that's the case with anything which affects any part of a persons' brain.

I would think kratom stands a better chance of staying legal than all of the RC' floating around.

This is why I think Kratom may actually more dangerous than PCP, bath salts, or even these new "N-bombs" going around. Kids are dropping like flys, dying from brain explosions and falling asleep while falling or driving. Something needs to be done, Mr. President, because it's not long before all of our children are dying from Kratom.

I ordered a kilo from Indonesia, it went into customs and left customs yesterday. Did I get lucky? I didn't hear anything about people getting packages of kratom seized before I ordered mine.

Yea that's a major issue, but it's even more disturbing that these head shops are ordering pre-packaged capsules in tacky packaging from overseas.

It's not much different than when Synth Cannabinoids became popular such as K2. Very similar situation, but with a very different substance.

No one really knows what they put into those caps as far as fillers.

Kratom is obviously safe as most of us know here but, I'd like to hear suggestions on what we could possibly do to save this in its' pure form. Any suggestions?

It's not a matter of getting lucky. It's a matter of if the package says anything along the lines of "Mitragyna speciosa, mitragynine extract, biak-biak, cratom, gratom, ithang, kakuam, katawn, kedemba, ketum, krathom, krton, mambog, madat, Maeng da leaf, nauclea, Nauclea speciosa, or thang."

Those are the packages that are being seized, although not all of them.

If you want an all around strain I'd go for a Bali or Malay.

Keep your eyes on vein colorings. Red will be sedating and green more energetic. If you run across white consider yourself lucky. It's a good balance.

Hey Kroniko, what's up.

I just wanted to add that IL was a victory for Kratom. They wanted it schedule 1, but some dilligent people rallied to have it for those 18 and over. It passed the legislation too. Here is the article about it: Here
There are links on the page to help support kratom as a medicinal herb.

Also, the only decent habitat for a kratom farm, is FL, and maybe the gulf states. It won't survive a freeze. Indoor might be a possibility though.

I'm in South Florida so the sub-tropical to tropical temperatures and humidity are perfect down here for growing Kratom.

Yea, I could if you'd like to :pm: me. If not, remember that you want the the finest milled powdered leaf from the vendor you order from. It should be dark green, and the vendor should say it's vacuum sealed & stored in a freezer.

The pictures of the products they sell is a good indicator...just pm me viva...

If you only want to get one strain, get either 'bali' (red borneo)

if you want to really get full effects. Get Red borneo, green borneo, and white borneo. Mix
tham at a 1:1:1 ratio. Mixing strains gives the best effects.Doesn't have to be borneo, but
it works best when you mix the different veins of the same strain. Green, and white blend
makes a good energetic morning dose. Red, and white, or red, and green seriously synergize.

Actually,  I would get a sample pack from a legit vendor, I've seen some overhyped strains that were  extremely disappointing. Also don't forget to ingest a solid dose of etiz 30 minutes beore ingestion and and another around the ~2 hour:thewarden: mark.

So in other words the market will probably be boned for a while , prices will go up and gradually fall. We'll end up missing out on some of the better strains though. I think my favorite was Rhite Riau.

For whatever reason I never liked the green strains.

what's that? a blend of red, and white riau, or did you misspell white? :lol:

i haven't tried the riau strains as i heard they were weak.

I tend to prefer white veins, and red veins. depends on the strain though.

i really want to get a rifat.
