I'm not positive...but I doubt that you will get dual citizenship just becuase your wife has it.

i believe after you've lived in canada long enough to gain citizenship you can apply for a duel one instead....but i really don't know for sure. :tongue:

Im a Canadian citizen right now and was thinking about getitng duel citizenship. I don't know if I should, because I know I would never move to the US. My parents are pressuring me into getitng it, but I don't see any advantages unless i plan on going to school or living there, which I don't.

Your fiancee can come live and work in Canada at any time if she has a Canadian citizenship.

If you are married I'm fairly certain you would be allowed to immigrate to Canada as well, and you could probably apply for citizenship.

You're here because you know something.
What you know you can't explain,
But you feel it;
You've felt it your entire life.
That there's something wrong with the world.
You don't know what it is, but it's there....
Like a splinter in your mind...
Driving you mad.
