Some more Seattle cyans...

Went and hit a few spots this morning, found more patches that had been found already than mature ones :confused:, but that's what I get for being out of town last weekend I suppose.  Hopefully the rain will have them coming up in the places everyone doesn't hunt within the week :grin:.  Here's some shots, had to get some habitat pics up here cause ya'll have been skimping on em :tongue: ....

These ones blended in good, I walked right by them the first look, as I'm sure many others did as well...


Blurry pic of some more growing out of grass very close to the patch above...


A nice patch that had been found already, but the picker(s) actually used scissors and left the pins, pretty shocking :tongue:, most were left to mature...


The end result :smile:


Some primo Agaricus augustus buttons for dinner :laugh:, surprised to see them up still, but they're around in a few places...


And a beat up little amanita for good measure, they were popping up everywhere....

hehe I know how it is. Good thing my spots are well hidden, and on the Eastside nobody really picks =D but dam nice finds man! Ive never found a cyan, but I really want 2

i cant beleive how well they are growing without much rain.. its a miracle :smile:

Great find!! Those Agaricus specimens are some of the best IMO. I hear you and @cro are going hunting soon. Good Luck!!!

I'm going to come and visit you guys very soon, so save some cyan spots for me!

ah ha, think i know where that is  :wink:   

  I think i found that old sleeping bag there along with some cyans a couple years ago
  dethead has a keen eye for the cyan!
