something like what?


:shrug: something for which no neologism has yet been created. I think if we shift to a paradigm in which language has ontological priority then such a neologism may come about inside of some theoretical construct, but under the materialistic paradigm I do not see it happening

Yeah it shows up in...

increased prevalence of mental illness
increased prevalence of apparently random mass slaughtering committed for strange/unknown reasons
countercultural behavior/activity:
-body piercing
-tatooing
-rave culture/psychedelic culture
-punk culture

etc.

Not really. Unfortunately it's nearly impossible for me to give adequate explanations for things within the metaphysical paradigms that Western civilization has become entrenched in. I see basic substrate of experience as something like thought, and I see isomorphic semiotic expression, especially in the form of language, as a self-referencing thought. I see that there are different densities of thought with correspondingly different densities of semiotic expression, and that these correlate with a chronological rather than spacio-dimensional distribution. I see the density of thought as increasing according to an exponential function. The result of simultaneously existing semiotic expression- leftover representations instantiated in anterior portions of the chronology, when thought was not as dense- appears to be experiential shock, and the level of shock appears to correlate according to the spacio-dimensional proximity of the juxtaposition. This shock shows up in the forms I have listed above, but is not limited to them.

This is all just conjecture, of course.
