strange growth from whole syringe

hi...
i just colonized a group of "allen" strain
allong with a group of mexi cubes
colonization went ok, no contams
i cased with the "solo" cup tek
(verm on bottom of plastic drinking cup crumble cake, jiffy mix on top)
also tried same thing in a breadpan
so the allens started pinning first, nice set looked good
mexis were slower to pin, less pins but the fruits were thicker and better
the allens came up in one of two ways
either they were skinny, real skinny, like floss my teeth skinny
and eventually dropped their spores from their tiny caps, so i picked em
or (the majority) were way deformed
like mutant, i got balls of myc growing on the casing layer with no signs of a cat or anything resembling a mush
i got big fat split stems on twisted ass things growing into themselves just weird looking, nothing ive ever seen before
some of them just grew strange wrinkled lookin like deep valley caps on the casing layer.... this is really hard to explain what i've got here, there is no sign of cobweb, green, or anything that looks like a mold or contam, but every one of the allens doesn't look right
the mexis came out ok so i dont know whats goin on
are they poisonus, are the plant gods angry at me?
i dunno, i wish i had a camera
i've done this 3 times so far, but this is my first time seeing this strangeness... plz help :P

Sometimes fruits themselves can be infected. Do a google search or check GGMM/TMC for pictures of Verticillium infected mushrooms. This would explain why only one tray was deformed, assuming the same strain performed well before and other strains are performing well now. Sometimes bacterial blotch can deform fruits within a specific tray as well. Without some pics of good trays and bad trays, it's hard to know for sure. Another possibility is that the spore mating combos just didn't produce a healthy fruiter in the allen case.

Verticillium is a good guess.

by that i mean, should my dog eat them will he get sick or die?

If that's indeed verticillium, you might get very sick.
I would toss them.
