Easy Pad Thai Recipe
    #19813145 -

Easy Pad Thai

8 oz rice noodle
2 T brown sugar
2 T lime juice
3 T soy sauce
1 squirt sirachua (careful)
2 scallion white & green separated & thinly chopped
1 clove garlic minced
2 eggs beaten
1/4 cup cilantro chopped
Chopped peanuts

The fun part!

1. Soak the noodles in hot, not boiling water for 25 minutes.
2. In a bowl whisk brown sugar, lime juice, soy sauce & sirachua.
3. Heat oil in your wok.
4. Add scallion whites and garlic till fragrant.
5. Add eggs and scramble until almost done, set aside.
6. Add noodles, scallion greens and sauce mixture. Cook until noodles are soft, stirring constantly about 1 min.
7. Add egg mixture and toss to coat while breaking up the eggs gently.
8. Serve with lemon wedge, cilantro and chopped peanuts.

Bon Apetit

hrmmm, that doesn't sound very good to me (no offense).... a good pad thai sauce has tamarind paste, fish sauce, some thai chili paste, bit of brown sugar, you really gotta play with them and balance them out to your liking

what i do is heat up 2 tablespoons of oil in a wok on like medium high heat, then i fry an egg for about 20 seconds and then add in whatever protein i'm using until that's cooked completely... then i add a couple more tablespoons of oil and the noodles and the sauce, cook that up another 4mins or so and add bean sprouts and fry another minute

in the end i top w/ crushed peanuts, lime wedges (extremely important to get the right flavor imho) and green onions and cilantro

Everything is better than it was the last time.  I'm good.

If we could look into each others hearts, and understand the unique challenges each of us faces, I think we would treat each other much more gently, with more love, patience, tolerance, and care.

It takes a lot of courage to go out there and radiate your essence.

I know you scared, you should ask us if we scared too.  If you was there, and we just knew you cared too.

This recipe tastes as good as any Pad Thai I've had at restaurants.
I appreciate your constructive criticism but for a simple dish, this ones up there.
Yours sounds good too. I'm sure it would have a more complex flavor going on.

you might like cooking with "chili garlic sauce"
same rooster bottle as sriracha, they're comparable but this stuff has rougher chopped chillies and a much heftier amount of garlic... it's in most grocery stores in my experience

Making my mouth water just looking at it.

I'm going to go ahead and make the Pad Thai today. All this talk got me in the mood for it. I will see what the small grocery store has available.
