I'll thank WW2/Vietnam vets, but everyone else, I don't think we should even be overseas, I'm not going to thank them for that. I'm not going to support injustice. We've killed more civillians than terrorists over there. Fuck that.

This is a fucking lie.  Most of the civilian casualties, by far, were caused by our enemies.  Maybe you like the Taliban chopping heads.  Apologist.

Nope. I'll never apologize for what I said. I know we've killed thousands and thousands of civillians in the name of "wiping out terrorists". We've killed more innocents than ours have died.

Injustice at its best.

What they really mean is "better you than me". I mean, where did this phrase originate? I know you don't give a shit about them, so why the need for the reminder?

I much rather enjoy the company of citizens, the ones who stand square, look a grunt in the eye and say "Welcome Home".

"Welcome Home" is polite and respectful, regardless if its Korea/Vietnam vet or OFI/OEF.

"Thank you for your service" is  asking for trouble.

trust me on this.

I never felt the same way. I served in the Navy for a short time and I had lots of people buy me dinner, hand me money, salute me, and thank me.

I never really wanted to be thanked for anything but I always appreciated that they supported me. Lots of people thanked me in different ways and I think when some of them said, "Thank you for your service" they only meant well. Some people might not even know how to properly thank a veteran and so they use the popular saying.

The phrase just a kind gesture, I think.

I don't talk to vets too much, not to seem rude but most that I have had contact with have been violent, angry, sexist, and racist.

They're just not my kind of people.

I would never even think about thanking a solider for going to the middle east and killing people for no good reason anyways honestly.

Well many people do support the police.

Its true we have some jacked up laws and the police are expected to enforce these laws, the majority of our penal system is unjust and aimed against non-violent drug users. That being said the job isn't inherently wrong and individual police officers are people like anyone else with their own motives, so I'm indifferent towards them.

Education is the answer to our civil problems, its really a shame that attitudes become so polarized because that prevents real change and progress.

Nobody was tricked.  You disapprove of the Civil War?  Do you know what happened to the people of S Vietnam after we abandoned them.  Do you think it would be a good thing if S. Korea looked like N. Korea?  Do you support the Taliban?  How about Saddam Hussein, if only on environmental criminal grounds?

What are you even trying to say? Yes they were tricked, we were all tricked. Saddam Hussein was the only one with his hand controlling the "Taliban" and the Muslim extremists in the Middle East. These service men were tricked into service just as we were ticked into Vietnam by the false flag gulf of Tonkin incident. We were "attacked" by nine men from Saudi Arabia then we go and attack Afghanistan? We go and attack a CIA operative and his gang of men with AK-47s? This war is comparable to a the US being a third world county and a blood gang in California attacking Russia then having the entire Russian military attack Texas and take over its oil fields.

Why do you think that Saddam lit his fields on fire when we invaded? The US has had Osama bin-Ladin and his family on payroll for 30+years and used him when they needed him. The only reason we went to war was to build nationalism, fascism and remove as many freedoms from the American people at they could. "Do you support the Taliban" YES, YES WE DO!!! We support the Taliban, rebels, freedom fighters or whatever the main stream media wants to call them when it fits their agenda.

Why don't you look at opium production the year before we invaded? The "Taliban" was in control and had opium production down to an all time low. Uncle Sam didn't like that shit either! Soon after that there he was with his men patrolling opium fields so that Americans can have their pills. If you haven't read this yet I will post it again.

This is what i think about this illegal war that was started by the war criminal George W. Bush. Article 1, section 8, clause 11 of the united states constitution states congress shall have power to declare war.

In 1973 congress passed the war powers resolution act which requires the president to obtain either a declaration of war or a resolution authorizing use of force from congress within sixty days of initializing hostilities with full disclosure of facts.

Yes, bush got the senate to pass the IWR in October 16, 2002 an entire 356 days after the first boots hit the ground. The problem with this is the lee, spratt, byrd, levin, durbin amendments to the IWR states that we are to aid the UN in finding weapons of mass destruction, long range missiles and manufacturing such weapons and that no other authorization is given regarding Iraq.

After finding no such weapons we remained in Iraq. I have no problems with the troops we all have family, friends and loved one which we are deeply grateful for their services they are just doing as their leaders told them to do. Due to the anger the American people and military had after the 911 attacks led to some horrendous behavior by some of our troops.

The Mahudiyah killing are the murder of an Iraqi father, mother, and two daughter the eldest 14 which was gang raped by five united states army soldiers in the 502nd infantry regiment, this is just one of many. Staff SGT Robert Bales murder of 16 civilians including 9 children which later stated he thought he was doing the "right thing". The CRS report to congress states an estimated 86,661-94,558 civilian casualties due to military action as of August 22, 2008.

Now lets go back to September 10th one day before the attacks. Donald Rumsfeld came out and reported to the american people that our government had lost 2,300,000,000,000 dollars.

The day after we had the Twin Towers hit by two commercial airliners that soon fell in what appeared to be a controlled demolition. Now this is the kicker, World Trade Center 7 which was not hit by a plane and which held many of the United States financial documents also fell in a controlled demolition.

Now lets look back a little further at Osama Bin Laden. Osama Bin Laden was a CIA asset in the 80s he was armed by the CIA and funded by the Saudis to wage jihad against the Russian occupation of Afghanistan which was used as some sort of proxy war with America and Russia.

What about Osama Bin Ladens brother Salem bin Laden, Osamas older brother was an investor in Arbusto Energy the Texas oil company started by non-other than  George W. Bush. Salem later died in a plane crash in Texas. Now it makes sense why the planes were used on the World Trade Centers, it was how George W. Bush covers his tracks.

After we go to war and destroy a nation who gets a no-bid contract to rebuild this nation? None other than the Vice President of the United States of America, Dick Cheney. Halliburton got the contract and made millions for Dick Cheney and George W. Bush made millions off this war as well.

This is a corrupt set of people that continue to attempt to have their families set into places of political power. Liz Cheney is going to run for senate in 2014 and I'm sure it will be an attempt to keep money flowing to her family just as the Bush family has done.

On September 10, 2001, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld held a press conference to disclose that over $2,000,000,000,000 in Pentagon funds could not be accounted for. Rumsfeld stated: "According to some estimates we cannot track $2.3 trillion in transactions." According to a report by the Inspector General, the Pentagon cannot account for 25 percent of what it spends. 1 Â 2 Â

That was over many years.  Was it a surprise that the Pentagon and the government are inefficient and what does that have to do with 9/11?  Are you one of those kooks who says we did it?
