i think one strain might dominate the cake, probably the faster growing pf strain. or, you might create a hybrid of all four. how will you determine the time to birth the cake?

Perhaps a dominant, but I doubt it.
I'll vote for no fruit. The strains will use all their strength to fight each other, and have no energy left to produce fruits.
I've seen this several times with cakes, just not casing but I don't foresee that it will change much, but you may get a few.
One thing that will not happen is that you won't get any hybrid fruits. This has been hashed out before, do a search if you need to, I just hope that isn't what you were hoping for.

I believe the most dominant strain will take over and fruit. PF maybe? We'll see. Definitely post the results.

all the strains colonized equally. Its about ready to birth. The way i would determine time to birth would perhaps be full colonization, felix what type of question was that? Im not sure what it will do. The mycelium of each species had pretty much took over 1/4th the jar each, so for a dominant strain like pf to take over might not happen. I think each strain might still fruit seperatly, besides the azure unless i was bio. We shall see.

Whoa dude YOU JUST created a Super Strain, if you let them grow they will create one giant mushroom, then you can use that to feed all of the united states cause it will be like super. Hope the government doesn't find out...cause they'll surely kill you for being a genetic genius! :wink:.

My money is on each strain colinizing part of the cake. Then it is like having small cakes next to each other, perhaps all too small to produce. Maybe you'll get a couple of each strain.

Or else it will blow up when the mycelium meets in the middle.
