ive got a straw casing that i spawned with burmese. spawned it let it fully colonize. cased it 50\50 peat verm. then i got a green contam on top of the casing layer. well after i saw that i scraped off the casing layer duked the hole thing set in a plastic garbage bag with holes for a week. to let the mycelium grow stronger. yesterday i pulled it out of the garbage bag. there is no sign of green. and there was a mushroom growing on the side of it.
is everything cool?

Time will tell.

On a side note, if you pulled food out of the fridge that had green mold on it, would you simply brush the mold off and eat it anyway? That is more or less what you have done with your casing. Something to think about...

good point!!!!!

but like you said only time will tell . theres no sign of it now but if it starts stinkin real bad. or i see more contams i guess ill toss it but it looks ok for now.
