I even spelled Quick right this time.

Ok, I?ve posted some pics. Not great. But hell, I?m cheap and the cam was 30 bucks.

Question is this Fellow Shroomers.

I?ve got 13 jars going.

This one. (See pics.)









Has the nice white mycelium, but also, it has a light, very light pale white/gray stuff growing around it.

I?m thinking contam.

But I thought I?d get a few opinions from you guys before I thrash it.

Tell me what ya think.

Contaminations usually spread much faster than mycelium.
Sometimes mycelium has a greyish tone to it as long it?s very light, but it allsways becomes white as soon as it thickens a bit.
It?s impossible to tell by those pictures though, I?d say wat a few more days and see what happens.

I was thinking pretty much the same thing. This stuff spread like, ultra fast.

The white areas look almost choked by the grey crud.

I've give it 2 more days, it don't shape up and it's the ax! Or well.. the garbage disposel.

Thanks for the imput. I've never seen any contam like this. So I wanted to make sure.

Then it?s likely contamination, sorry.

Did it begin to spread at inoculation points or everywhere?

That question sent it directly to the garbage.

It started from the centers of the jar.

At first it was just a few spots.

But this morning I woke to find it had grown over the whole thing.

Contam. Sure of it. Thanks for the input.
