Rush Limbaugh: drug addict???

I woke up this morning to hear Howard Stern talking about Rush Limbaugh. I figured that it was about him getting fired from ESPN for making supposedly racist comments about the Eagles McNabb, but no. They were discussing Limbaugh's supposed addiction to some kind of pain killer.

They talked about it for some time. It wasn't a joke. However, I can't find anything about it. Has anyone else heard about this?

If this is true, then I think it's great. I really don't wish anyone any pain and suffering, but man would it be so sweet if a puritan like Limbaugh who preaches "morality" got exposed for being a pill popper. It would be wonderful to hear that a man who is all for locking up non-violent drug offenders is one himself. If this is true, I wonder if Rush thinks it would be to his benifit to spend some time behind bars.

besides his self rightiousness how is this different from any other celebrity getting caught with drugs?

IMHO anyone who presents themselves as the bastion of morality and lives a life counter to it deserves what they get.

What do you mean? What is the difference between Rush and someone who doesn't make a living publicly condemning drug users while stuffing enough hillbilly heroin down his gullet to kill an elephant?

Limbaugh had suffered a hearing loss a year or two ago.

Alex seemed to ignore the first 4 words, since he pretty much just stated the same thing in his post as if it were entirely new.
