Joe Rogan Commentary

Is there anybody else out there that thinks the UFC fights commentated by Joe are much more entertaining to watch opposed to when hes not calling fights?.
His commentary shits all over that of Mike Goldberg in my eyes,seems like Mike is one sandwich short of a picnic


Mike Goldberg: "He's got him in some kind of strange choke I've never seen before!"

Joe Rogan: "That's a rear naked choke.".....
                                                     

Mike Goldberg: "You can hear the corner speaking Portuguese!"

Joe Rogan: "Uh, that's Japanese, brother"

Joe knows what he's talking about. He's passionate about martial arts and fighting. I don't mind other commentators, but Joe is obviously on ( Rener Gracie's voice ) the highest level! when it comes down to it.

No doubt! He's been with the ufc since Ufc 13 or 14 and he's been fighting all his life. Some cool YouTube videos of Joe fighting back in the day. And the one where he's TEACHING gsp, yes teaching, a spinning technique! That's badass lol

I saw that video of him teach GSP the spin kick,dudes got some mad power in those legs/body.

Off topic a bit but how many people enjoy his podcast?.I think they are great,especially the ones with joey diaz in them :rofl:

Yes! I've seen that one. He was really humble about it too. I remember hearing him say he was amazed when GSP came to ask him.

I love his podcast. I don't listen to it very often though because I'm really busy and have to spend my time off-work on studies and training. But when it's about psychedelics, I check it out. I like the format. When I listen to it, I sit comfortably, smoke some and enjoy it like I would if I was there, chatting with them.

I too sit there and watch it as if I was in the room with them unless I'm researching other shit then I'll just have it playing in the background.

I find he talks about a lot of subjects that interest me.Sad thing is when he has somebody on the show that's not nearly as knowledgeable as he is on a topic/subject and the conversation about said topic goes stagnant pretty quick..Ahh well,can't please everyone I guess.

I love his podcast! I have JRE on my TV most of the time. I love chillin with a bowl at night and watching it. And yeah I know what you mean Fractal, I couldn't wait to see the podcast with War Machine, cause I love watching him fight, but I was kinda disappointed when I watched it... Joe seemed like he was correcting War Machine the whole time. If he wasn't correcting him, he was telling him to research something lol. Some of it was good, but like you said, its so much better to have someone knowledgable enough to carry a conversation with him. Makes the whole show more interesting.

The one with Dan Hardy was really good. One of my favorites. They talk about everything under the sun, including MMA, psychedelics, Dans special trip to south America lol...bomb ass episode, if you guys haven't seen it.

Even when they are just talking shit I get enjoyment,certainly good free entertainment.And you know what they say "something free is something good providing its not herpes".
