do u think matresses r cooler flat on the floor without a bed frame?

I remember when I was in middle school I used to think it was cool to watch "MTV raiders" and a lot of times in the houses they'd raid the mattresses would be on the ground without any sort of bed frame levitating it in the air, and therefore I associated that in my brain as something that's cool to do


so naturally the thought of taking my bed frame out of my room has been one that passes through my mind on occasion,and I was wondering what ya'll think of intelligently discussing the differences between the two or if u know anyone who has their beds on the floor without any space underneath

The only people I know who have beds on the floor are poor people.

I don't think it's cooler, but I certainly won't be spending the money on a box spring or bed frame any time soon.

Matresses come and go but a bed frame lasts a lifetime. Plus you don't the the thesqueak.

i dont like bed frames, i end up putting all the shit under my bed and it gets messy. i haven't had one in years. i slept on the ground for a while too, would not recommend.

i got kicked outta my dorm room in college one semester for having a huge party in my room with drugs and booze (first person to get caught in the dorm 2 weeks into college, i was the kid that was "made an example of")

so i moved into this house with hardwood floors and i didnt really have a bed so i used a shitty air mattress every night and every fuckin morning i woke up on the hardwood floor lol, it sucked, but only lasted a couple months

Beds on the floor are more susceptible to mold since there is no airflow and a mattress is a giant sponge.

I haven't owned a bed in 10yrs. Two futon mattresses on the floor is more comfy than a bed IME
