My PC only hits 10 PSI, how long do I cook PF jars?
Would I be just as well off to use a large pot and just boil them for 1.5h? Thanks for any advice.

[Email]60min@15[/Email] psi = [Email]120min@7.5psi[/Email] so give em a bit longer than you would at 15, about  50% longer again.

you don't even need the pressure for pf jars so I'm sure 10psi will be fine.....and yes you could just boil them but an hour is all you need...I don't like to go over an hour since theres a risk of over cooking

PF jars will do fine at 10psi for 45 minutes. I do it every time and it seems to work.



For PF I think that is still overkill.

My FOAF does popcorn @15psi for 60 min and has never had contamn...EVER.

I did some popcorn at 15psi for 45 minutes once. It was fine.

I 'still' do PF because Ive never done this before, and I already have a PC, so whats the big deal? Can I do grain at 10 PSI? Can someone point me at info outlining benefits of doing grains instead of PF and/or cook times at different pressures??

stick with pf tek first
then go on to grains, dont worry you will be fine, pf tek teaches ALOT.
