You can get the current software from http://www.ultimatebb.com . It's a commercial package, so you'll have to shell out some cash for it. They've also got a freeware version that's a bit dumbed-down. If you're looking to use an SQL backend, you may want to check out http://www.wwwthreads.com . It uses mySQL or most other databases to handle everything. At some point in the future, we're hoping to move to it. Later.

Thanks, dumb-down, is not a problem, I am going to try and build most of the logic into the SQL backend so that software designed to do large processing can leaving the web forms to be simple, fast and efficient. Although that threads one seems to be doing just that! So I'll have to peep it too.
