Apparently the effects are quite unpleasant if it is pure THC injected

Here's a video of someone doing it, it's from a BBC documentary on cannabis



Also why bother inject when smoking or vapourising gives almost immediate effects and doesn't involve sticking a needle into your veins?

Um, is it pure THC? Cause if you're injecting THC extracted from plant matter, you can DIE of anaphylactic shock. Foreign proteins in the bloodstream cause anaphylaxis. Trust me I learned this the hard way.

It would probably be a nice rush. Those people in the video freaked out because they were thc naive as controls i believe.

Imagine a shot with THC/Heroin/Mephedrone. it would instantly slam your cannaboid/opiod/dopamine/serotonin receptors.

It would probably be the absolute best rush/high a person could feel.

IV etizolam was a great fucking rush. IV THC would be a great high with some alprolazolam and heroin and cocaine mixed in.

There are more advanced recipes than simply propylene glycol:

(All of these ingredients are readily available.)

The injection solution consisted of 0.1% (w/v) of THC, 1.5% (w/v) Tween® 80, 5.0% (v/v) ethanol absolute, 0.1% (w/v) sodium ascorbate, and sodium chloride solution (0.9%).[16] Sodium ascorbate was added to prevent the oxidation of THC to cannabinol. THC was dissolved in ethanol and Tween® 80, then added to the sodium ascorbate dissolved in 1 mL of the sodium chloride solution. The remaining sodium chloride solution was finally added to the mixture. The clear, yellowish solution was then sonicated for 30 s and filtrated through a 0.22-m filter under aseptic conditions

People inject black tar heroin all the time. I don't see why hash would be any different in respect to these proteins. morninggloryseed on Bluelight said of the preparation I posted above:

You could make a clean extract from hashish given the recipe above, and with some knowledge of the different ways to sterilize plant extractions, different types of wheel filters, what size you would need to ensure all proteins are removed, etc...you could get away with making an inject-able cannabis solution.

Where did you hear that? Dronabinol is the exact same thing as naturally-occurring THC,[1] and because cannabinoids are oils,[2] they can't be injected into the bloodstream without being specially prepared. Mello Kitty said someone she knew tried to cook and inject kif and it didn't do anything.[3]

You can't just go by one person's experience. The studies involving IV THC I posted above did not produce bad trips in the participants. Perhaps she had that reaction because it's just easier to have a bad trip on THC only. Makes sense, considering THC is considered to be the psychedelic found in cannabis.

I OD'd on IV caffeine and had to IV etizolam immediately after, was not fun.
