I never got too much into jeezy, he's definitely a trapper though, but I've been following Gucci since he started rapping back when I was a little kid.

They're both trapstars.

haha! I used to listen to a bit of Gucci's mixtapes as well as Boosie and some others. Funny stuff. Boosie was my favorite, he's the shit. FREE BOOSIE. lulz.

I remember hearing all my "thug" friends calling it trap music way before trap was even an electronic genre.

Agreed. Few people can mimic such a unique and out-of-the-box style and sound. He is clearly one of the originators and game changers of his genre.

Perhaps only Lil' Wayne has had a more notable and profound effect.
