ahh, i forgot, i downloaded Beck awhile ago, i still haven't heard Sea Change, i'll have to give it a go.

yeah the whole album is kind of a bummer, but it's soooooooo good. really psychedelic too. i think the new one, at least from what i've read, will be the happy ending to "sea change".

lol, it has to be. he's Beck. he's too hip to not be making break up songs.

but yeah, it is a very psychedelic feeling production... this will an awesome album.

I've been a fan of these guys for a long time. I think I saw the last concert they did before their hiatus thing.

They got through one song, pretty sure it was either 'On The Mountain' or 'No Destruction' and the lead singer fell off the stage while standing on a PA. He was blown out of his mind on something in my opinion, not really sure what.

The band played through the rest of the song with the frontman laying on the ground then Jonathan Rado (?) told the audience that the singer was hurt, paramedics came and brought him off in a stretcher, and the show was canceled.

My friend and I walked out of the venue slightly mind-blown.

Oh Comely is definitely what got me started in really digging them. It ended in my learning the song myself but I can't put the magic in it that Jeff Mangum has.
