I can't wait to hold it in my hands and just gaze. There's so much about vinyl I love. When you hold a record .. you're holding a piece of history right there in your hands. I can say that "THE Grateful made this album ... and it is here before me to inspire awe and creation." And they did make the album too. For did they or did they not have their own recording label ... that was eventually bought by Arista? Where's Ripple?

My prize piece of vinyl is the original Beatles White Album. My dad waited in line in Toronto on the day it came out to get it. It's got an 8x10 pic of each of the guys in it, and also a big poster with all the lyrics on the back.

And man does it sound sweeeeeeet on that vinyl. All those minute pieces that are missing from a CD really make a difference.

But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them.

That's sweet. I wish I could find a place near me that had good vintage vinyl. There are a couple places but they're pretty small stores. Anybody seen the "Scratch" documentary? I need something like Shadow's store.
