Any Eels fans?

They're one of my favourite bands. I think E's often simplistic/minimalistic style is fantastic. The lyrics are so straight-forward, without being obvious. Anyone else like them?

Don't know how I missed this thread...Eels are quite good. I was particularly obsessed with the song World of Shit for awhile.

there are very few cd's ive had since i first started buying.. the eel's beautiful freak is one of those albums for me.. ive followed the eels since i first heard of them, and to this day they're played at least once a week..
as mentioned, the music is simplistic, but it is very nicely layered and arranged..

Yeah, Electro-Shock Blues has gotten me through so much. It's such a depressing album but ends with a real glimmer of hope so it really brings you out of it. I think E is a genius, and that's not a word I throw around often.

i;m a big eels fan too man...there new stuff i like abit more than there old stuff though, simply because they rock out harder one the new album
