oh shit, then you're probably gonna dig them then... they have like metric tons of good shit. they are like the Beatles... lol, of eerie Pagan-Celtic brooding dark choral music.

seriously, Into the Labyrinth is classic. The Serpents Egg is classic. Aions is just classy as fuck. it's a little harder to take in, however. it's impenetrable.

unfortunately youtube sucks for this album, and there are no good vids. however... this is from Spleen and Ideal another awesome album.

He was close friends with Douglas P. of Death In June, had his own bad NON. They're more of a noise band than pagan. He uses a lot of nazi imagery and stuff, it's really bizarre but interesting.

I'm too lazy to go on youtube right now, but check out the song "Total War".

I will never NOT have The Flashbulb's entire discography on me at all times. The guy's real name is Benn Jordan, if anyone wants to check him out.

Seriously. I'm probably preaching to the choir on this type of forum, but I've yet to hear of him anywhere except out of my own digging.

Pharmakon. Distorted, droning, apocalyptic sounds in the same vein of Swans.

The Body. Chaotic sludge metal and noise.

Nahvalr. Black metal drowned in static.

Intervals has a cool metal album.

This is the drummer of Intervals.

Great thread! I'll be checking out some of the stuff posted here for sure. Akira, thank you for reminding me about Dead Can Dance, A friend is always trying to get me into it but somehow I always forget, Cardinal Sin really hit the spot!

I will come back with some suggestions after I've listened to some of the stuff here, but to start it off some Sunn O))), I think this song is their greatest work if you're into the whole dark alien soundscape thing. Man when the BassAlien sounds really start it's so good! Be sure to have headphones or good speakers to hear the true nature of the BASS!

Interesting song, I hear a bit of beefheart in those guitars

This thread reminded me of Current 93, another band I've been meaning to get into. I even bought their Black Ships Eat The Sky on vinyl but listened it only once, also their split with Om is great!

Oh yeah, I think Om would fit in this thread, for all bass lovers out there

Easy acceess

i've only heard Pilgrimage, so i'll check these tracks out later. not now though, cause i am starting to get tired, and i wanna have a fresh take to listen this... also i can blast it today in the afternoon, not so much at 7:00 in the morning

PS: Black Ships Eat The Sky on vinyl? duude :highfive: creepy.

Yeah Om needs to be experienced, not background music so good call!

I found the Current 93 album in a second hand shop for 15€ like 2 years ago, I remembered the name from somewhere and bought it, I checked and it goes for 35-50€ now so good buy!

I see you like some evil shit man! Nahvalr was pretty good but otherwise too droning and dark for me. Please post something more gentle, this kind of music is uncharted territory for me and I'd love to hear more!

I think you could like Oranssi Pazuzu, it has some Black Metal influences mixed with psychedelic kraut rock stuff

Here's some from their new album

Uraanisula (molten uranium)

And some dirty space prog stuff from the earlier album

Andromeda
