Hobo spiders (graphic)

Damn, I see one of these posts every month, at least.


& I was reading a bit about them, I don't think that is a hobo spider bite...

I've actually heard the same from people more qualified than myself to speak on the matter, forgot what they call themselves.... ... entomologists (had to google it). Saw that picture and needed an excuse to post it though :lol:

Lol there are still hobo spiders in OR.. they roam all around the pacific northwest, but like I said, they are not brown recluses so they can't rot your skin with a bite. That is, if my source was correct.

Psh as long as you have traps and don't have trees and bushes hugging your house you'll be fine.
That person in the pic used the wrong type of disinfectant, probably hydrogen peroxide, which actually makes your tissue DIE and turn black.
Dumbie should have went to the hospital, he made it way worse then it should have been haha!

You've never heard of a hobo spider before? What about a brown recluse? They are about as famous as a black widow because they are just as common and are more dangerous :shrug: I'm pretty sure they like to hide in dark places and they try to stay far away from humans which is probably why there aren't too many cases of bites.


I've seen a hobo spider at blue lake before, it's not a joke, they are there but you kinda gotta go looking to find one.
