Shpongle's new album!

So who else here is excited for museum of consciousness? It's their new album. I think if I remember correctly they drop the album on the 27th of this month. It's been years since their last album was made. Personally I love to listen to shpongle when I trip. I've been listening to them for about 4 years. I saw Simon DJ live at a club. It was their masquerade tour. It was awesome :awesome:

Yeah I heard about this myself through shpongle's mailing list although I haven't looked into it much. I know there are tickets up for sale now for a show there doing in London in either September or October in celebration for release of that album. Probably going to be a full band show rather than a DJ set like they've done there in the past, I really wouldn't mind seeing that :shpongle:

I proudly wear my Shpongle - Halloween Ball LIVE IN LONDON 2009 T-shirt. It was for the launch of Ineffable Mysteries album and I was dressed up as the Lord Vader, the after-party was nice too, although very cold as it held was under an old rail bridge passage.

I'm thinking on going to London again for this album launch.

They would have the full band playing a set when they perform at london. They will probably even have that one guy who plays the steel drum for them. Im so jealous. I live over in Florida, the past 4 years they have toured here twice. I have my limited edition shpongleyes t-shirt. Simon acknowledged his appreciation for it at his masquerade tour haha. :jah:

In 2012 on 4/20 I saw Simon Posford and the Shpongletron. He spun Museums of Consciousness since the song has been out since around then. It was sweet and I'm very interested to hear the rest of the album. :mushroom2:

Shpongle would probably be the best example on how to combine commercialism and true art in psy scene.

I kinda found the last two albums boring. Great music yes, but it just doesn't hit me like it should. IDK, maybe I've grown out of my shpongle-mold, so to speak :shrug:
