How about live cellist, percussion, flutes by Raja Ram, Posford of course, Ott plays some instruments on all the Shpongle albums as well, so he could be there too.

Definitely not a DJ set.





And yeah, so the fuck what if Posford uses samples? It's how it's all put together that matters. And it's a SAMPLES CD for christsakes, it's what it's made for.

Doesn't make any much of a difference actually
as long as it's a great track and a great album.

yeah i feel you, i just always thought they did something special to get those vocals because the chants are out of this world. I have heard something similar on a flecktones live recording,



the guy in the beginning can hit three different notes at the same time with his voice.

It's called overtone singing.

And Shulman is a master at using throat singing samples, in my opinion of course. :smile:


And whoever said they like Peaking Goddess Collective, good choice, some great music from them.  Be sure to checkout Flooting Grooves, he's PGC as well.

I find that sample to be a bit disappointing, I always though he either went out a recorded those ethnic sounds he's known for in he tunes or him and raja played them themselves. Still sounds awesome but make you wonder what else are lengthy samples..


Another example, The air instrument towards the end.. .Star Shpongled Banner..
