It's fucking hilarious to me how many Shpongle, Dead, and Phish fans there are on this site 
I like Shpongle, but I almost never listen to em. I've also never heard any of their music while tripping, oddly enough. Never listened to the Dead tripping either

The song that first hooked me back in like 2005ish? Was Dorset Perception
I would listen to Tales of the Inexpressible and The Lone Deranger nonstop.

^^the newer stuff is still cool, but shpongle for me will forever be the "Tales of the Inexpressible/Nothing Lasts" era

Nothing amazing Lasts...But Nothing was like it before it came out....
Did u guys notice the pattern with albums?
Its first a studio only album then they travel to another country and do a "world travel" album. Tales of the Inexpressible was a travel one, so was Ineffable Mysteries, filled with recordings from other countries.
Nothung Lasts and Museum of Consciousness are both studio versions.

Fucking love Benji and Younger Brother.
Check out his solo work, Prometheus. It is fucking amazing. I like early shpongle (first 3 albums) a whole lot but Prometheus and Hallucinogen (obv same dj’s) are some of the best psytrance in my opinion
