why that strange smell in my healty shrooms

I was in a holiday .I came and checked my terrarium today and it was horrible;first I got the disgusting smell of contaminated casings then I picked up the mature shrooms from another healthy case .The thing is that the healthy shrooms also smell strange ;are they really healthy?Both contaminated and healthy casings are in the same terrarium,so may that be a reason for that strange smell.Is it dangerous to eat them,I mean the healthy shrooms.

The smell is probably bacterial, so if in the same terrarium
its quite likly both could be contaminated, but it could also
just be the smelly gases that are given of by the bacteria, so
remove the bad casing, fan for a few days, and see if the smell
persists, dry the ones deemed good but smelly, adn wait untill you
find out if the other casing is contaminated.

As if after a few days fanning, the smell goes, you should be in the clear..

Normally, bacterial contam has a sweet rotting smell to it.
