New glovebox completed .....

My FOAF was sick of the limitations of his first ghetto glovebox so he made up this one, designed completely from Plexiglass, with dual 239 cfm axial fans mated each to a hepa. Each fan has a indiividual power cord so he can use only one fan for delicate work. 26" L x 14" H x 14" D. Works like a charm, blows like crazy.

the fans blow the air out of the glovebox? Is the air pressure inside the glovebox really low?

no, this is basically a mini flowhood, with 'glove holes' in the front face. the air blows IN, so you constantly work in clean flowing air. this is beautifully designed - it's what i'd copy if and when i make one.

edit: ozz, am i right? i'm guessing :blush:

The quickest setting, strongest kind you can find. I think I used a 5 minute epoxy that had a 2400 lbs strength ? I think ... LOL ..
