Turtle russula?

Well? Have I got some kinda mold eating them all or is this some kind of amphibious russula?
Found in southeastern GA underneath live oaks

:facepalm: it's like I was more excited to use "tisn't" than to answer your question. YES the dark spots are pitted, especially on the cap margin. The bigger ones on the stipe (Doctorghosty's sunglasses pattern) are very shallow

"Tisn't" is a wonderful word, I feel honored that be in the presents of anyone who uses it.
Your mushrooms are fucking cool looking.

Tisn't reminds me of this as does the word tis, not sure why.
