You're honestly suggesting that 1 billion people migrating from Africa into Europe overnight is a solution to African hunger?  There's nothing I can do to explain if you can't even think of one reason why that would never, ever work.

They should just walk to Europe.

- Walk thousands of miles, probably barefooted or with poor quality shoes, through deserts and jungles? How/what are they going to eat/drink on the way there?

Get a car and just drive.

- With what money?

Get a job for that money.

- What jobs?

Start a garden.

- With what money and supplies?

With Africa why do they keep having children when they know things are tough, the country is starving and poor?
Personally I'm not gonna have kids cuz I dont want to  be responsible for one growing up in the US
Africa is where the birth control should be
It's not that I hate them it just seems silly that they keep progressing their own problems

Also the people there are poor and easily extorted for their resources like diamonds
So perhaps although they don't help themselves, no one really helps them either, more so takes advantage of them

It's probably a mix of both.


Also, as a note on the 'stop having babies' point - sex is sought out for comfort in times of stress. It more probable that proper sex education and access to contraception is the realistic goal.

what the fuck! does nobody get this issue yet? we split the nations from tribes during our wars, then started pushing refugees from certain areas into other countries because of food scarcities which were normally cyclical. we then introduced the idea of imf and world bank loans to help develop these nations by providing them with drought intolerant crops like rice and wheat, meanwhile destroying their cassava drought tolerant crop among others. when they could not pay back the loans from the imf and world bank, their resources were auctioned off to the highest bidder, sometimes nestle going in and pumping out complete aquifers to starving villages, to oil companies and uranium mining companies trashing their lands. wake the fuck up everybody!

:rofldrunk: They don't have 7 childrens for shits and giggles you know. Less developed countries always have far higher birthrates due to them being (for the most part) pre-industrial hunting/agriculture societies. Each child is a new hand in the fields or another hunter for the tribe.

That doesn't explain the statistics well. No one said they were out there having fun and popping babies like pills. Just that sex education and access to contraceptives is very limited. I'm not dismissing your view since that idea is likely used as a rationalization, but sex is sought out for comfort. If you don't agree with that, then take a look at what happened to Haiti after money poured in after the earthquake - population explosion, because sex is a form of comfort. BTW, Haiti is still living in tent cities; it isn't like the population explosion occurred after internal structures were rebuilt.

Hysteria

Africa's had problems long before there was an IMF or World Bank, before the colonial age even. Banks are under the thumb of the ruling class, complaining about them is like complaining about the evil taxman 600 years ago, or the Barons in feudal Europe. Even the ruling classes are irrelevant, one replaces another going back thousands of years and all their power comes from the consent of the masses.
