NC ID#1- All Guidelines Followed
    #18235042 -

OK. Start by saying, Thank You in advance for all help given. I did the best I could to follow ID lay out. If I suffer in detail description, here and there, we will have to chalk it up to inexperience. Also, I realize image quality is something to be desired. Gonna blame that one on cell cam, very overcast conditions and being late in the evening. Maybe an hour before dark. But anyway, on with the show...

Habitat:
Horse pasture near NC/VA line(N.Piedmont},US. 780 ft. ASL
Directly in middle of horse manure surrounded by tall fescue clump.
yesterday 5-7-13

Today 5-8-13

Gills:
Tan? very light in color, free from stem

Stem:
2.50 in. length, white, thicker than most juvenile species I have encountered. Somewhat hollow. Smooth in texture.

Cap:
.75 in. across. Dry but smooth texture. Tan to light brown in color. Edges starting to darken during spore printing. Also excreting moisture causing a moist "silky" texture.

Spore print color:
4 hrs and no print visible. Other samples completed beautifully. Either, still to young, or white spores. Gonna let it sit a little longer and then try a dark surface.

Bruising:
Faint bluish bruise at pinch point. Took awhile to show.

Yes. sorry bout that. On my fingers are panaeolus papilionaceus. They are easy to spot with the veil remnants.

The "fat" one is probably an Agrocybe sp.

4 hours is usually too short a time to make a decent print, you should leave
it for at least 12 hours to get one which is consistent for identification.

Thanks for the info. I tossed out little chubby before I went to bed last night. I had come to conclusion that I must not have offered enough details for a proper ID. Seeing that no one hit on it. thanks again, tho.
