Best choice I made, and only the beginning of my travels.. Figuring out where I want to go next but I think South America for a month or so sounds great

How much money did you bring and how long did you go for?

I'd definitely want to do stuff like this, but would like to hear the logistics from someone who actually has.

2 months and 4 days. 4 days were in Amsterdam..
I spent around 1700 in my 2 months in Nepal/India, and I could have done cheaper.

Wow, that isn't bad at all. The dollar definitely goes a lot farther in places like that.

How was the bar/club scene there. It must have been a blast!

There are 2 types of nightlife in Nepal/India: Drinking in clubs or smoking weed in cafes. 49/50 times I was smoking weed in cafes. It's not that I don't like alcohol- but the amazing conversations I had with stoners around the world was far better than drunken blather that is hardly different from home. I actually only got drunk 6 or 7 times in India

God damn that sounds amazing. The getting stoned and talking to people part, not the drunk talk part, :lol:. Your thread made me put on Ravi Shankar (and Ananda Shankar). I want to go to India now.
