Glad to hear you're having success with your casings... I have a few questions for you if you don't mind:

1. What kind of casing method are you using? Sea of Shroom tek in plastic cups? Multiple half-pint cakes in a metal pie-pan? Care to share any more details on your method?

2. What kind of yield are you getting from your casing method? (in # of shrooms per half-pint cake, wet grams per cake, or dried grams per cake, whichever)

You said that you had a slight problem with cobweb mold on your casings... this is my biggest fear when it comes to casing. Can you give us some tips on how you successfully won the battle again cobweb mold? Do you just spray it with some hydrogen peroxide and that does the trick? Or are more advance techniques involved? Thanks, and good luck with the harvest this weekend! I'm sure you'll let us know what your total yield is from those seven cased 1/2 pint jars, inquiring minds want to know...

Your friends just may be your only chance to redeem yourself. You are the misguided one here pal, their behavior may be "detructive" according to DARE, but I am sure if you experience a sporitual revelation through the mushrooms, then you will see differentely.

Call me old fashioned, but I don't want to live in such a place. I keep my plant & fungus growing to a legal status, for not biding by the laws set forth by our wonderful government would have the potential of putting me in the "wonderland" described above rather quickly, not to mention cost me many many dollars. That is why when I talk about production of illegal plants or fungus, I keep it theoretical. I had a dream about growing P. Cubensis, or read the diary of a friend of mine who recorded what happened when he grew Lophophora Williamsii. These "theoretical" plants and fungus are completely legal since they don't actually exist.

If the government even gets a hint that I *actually* would even think about breaking what they consider major laws (ie controlled substance production) they COULD figure out who I am, where I live, and keep an eye on me (legal to do). I don't care to have people keeping an eye on me, thus I don't do anything illegal.

Do illegal things = Possibility of getting fines/jail time

Do legal things = NO FINE/JAIL TIME

And if you don't want the government to put you in the place described above, or for them to take money away from you (and lots of it ) then don't do/talk about doing illegal things
