Eventually the sun will begin to die and expand way beyond its current size. The earth will be vaporized and become a part of the sun. Then the sun will eventually explode and your energy will be blasted out into space. Then your energy and all of the other energy that was on earth and became part of the sun, or was part of the sun in the first place (the sun is where your energy came from) will dissipate and be transformed to its lowest form by the first and second laws of thermodynamics. In other words:  cremate, bury who give a shit? Eventually your energy will become useless and you and everything you have ever known will reach entropy and nothing will ever happen again.

May as well do your part for nature while you can. How often can you say your body is at a point 'of only giving back, and not taking from'  nature.  ??   
I don't wanna miss that bus while it's at the station.

In my opinion no.
If my ashes wher to be spread or if there even happened to be a funeral ceremony, I would request no religious ceremony be done. That in it self would not disallow someone from praying or doing a chicken sacrafice on there own freewill. What it would prevent is some asshole thinking a Catholic death ceremony needs to be done and then forning all my former friends haning out for 2 hours while some dick blathers on and on.
Fine have a wake, drink some beers and discuss all the dumb and funny shit I ever did, but don't let some asshole take over the "gathering".
