Let's also ignore the bank bailouts as it was extremely necessary for the American economy to get back on track...  :slaves:

This post doesn't even make sense.

Welfare isn't free market and selling food stamps when you don't even need food stamps is thievery.

Oh yeah... :bye:

As I said in my recent post, I fail to understand how this is the case. I've worked full time my whole adult life and paid taxes. The difference is I don't sit around and resent it. I mean, you could always move to Somalia where you don't have to worry about all that kind of stuff.

I have a better idea.  Stop giving the bums my money and ship THEM to Somalia.

What about the military bums? We spend way more money on the military and it's much more wasteful in many cases when we have huge planes sitting in their hangars and troops who don't have any work to do.

How are they bums?  That's ridiculous.  We pay them to do a job.  What jobs do the welfare bums do?  Then there is the mind numbing childishness of anyone who thinks that a military is unnecessary.  Imagine what the Norks would be trying if they weren't sure we could destroy them.  That is just one example.  Coddled and protected children whining about other people's money being spent on fundamental government roles that, if they were removed, would result in their slavery.  Or worse.

In 2011 US government gave away $1 trillion dollars in means tested benefits.  This does not include soc sec, medicare or veterans benefits and is more than the military budget.  Soc sec and medicare are each about the same as the military budget.

The bank "bailouts" resulted in a profit to the American taxpayer so there goes yet another stupid part of your fallacious narrative.

We should go the natural route of darwinism and let them fend for themself, if they try to steal something from me the only thing their leaving with is a huge medical bill which should not be paid for by the working class. Welfare people are lazy shits that deserve to starve if they cant get the fuck up and work for money then they clearly are not motivated enough. Also I have taken many drug tests in my life and have never failed one, and I have NEVER been clean when I took one.

Everything I say on here is not true, I am an insecure person who lies about doing drugs and stuff to make myself feel good. So any illegal things I may have talked about are all fictional.

So you want to take away poor peoples cars too? You sir are a gentleman and a patriot.

poor people dont have cars do they? cars are a luxury item that require full
time employment, car payments run around $300+ per month, then fuel comes into
play, it also has to be insured, there goes the entire welfare  check, how will
they pay their other bills, the rent, utilities, etc...

when I was about 12 I started working, my mom had broken her leg and was out
of work for 2 months, being self employed it completely killed her income,
she had 4 kids to support, one was a new born, she applied for assistance and
was rejected because she made too much money, 2 years go by her earnings are
a whopping $6000/year, she was still earning too much and the folks at the
welfare office told her to sell her car. for the last 5 years I've been
unemployed, I have 2 kids, and 2 disabled people that arent collecting
disability, and some how I do not qualify for any sort of welfare benefit,
they said I should sell my assets such as my home and then come talk to them

so in reality, who wants to take from whom

Single mothers are the main demographic that receive welfare payments, in many cases finding a low paying job and then paying for decent child care is not financially worth it.

Should young innocent children "fend for themselves"?

are you saying that people dont spend welfare/foodstamp money on drugs?

Are suggesting that weed is not a legitimate expense?

if you can afford to buy drugs then you dont need welfare

All my money to weed goes on the 2nd week and last week of the month, but I work.

People on welfare don't buy weed. They trade food stamps /EBT money for drugs/alcohol.

Around here anyway people do sell their EBT cards for whatever. They normally sell them for pennies on the dollar cause, hey, it's not their money, right ?

Sometimes crooked stores get in on the action too. There was a store owner around here recently that bought EBT cards for pennies on the dollar, went to a Costco like store, then bought items to resell for a profit.

I was talking with someone a few days ago on this subject, they were buying
$400 in EBT for $50 so the woman could buy crack as opposed to feeding her
2 kids, they guy had 3 kids of his own,  just lost his job and was living off
what he'd been saving o he'd have never agreed to it. my brother used to buy
foodstamps for 50 cents on the dollar, after I divorced my ex, she and her
mother both started drawing food stamps, almost $800 between the two of them
in one house, they were selling off the bulk of it to buy pain pills and
later it was meth. her mom got busted and received a year of probation and
was ordered to repay $12k in restitution which was never repaid

fraud it rampant  in the system because they dont bother to do any checks,
it's frequently doled out based on sex and skin color, illegal aliens get
benefits but many citizens cannot. the system is completely fucked

the system was set up for those in need, while it's a great idea there's
nothing in place to actively pursue fraud, drive up to the average welfare
office in urban areas and you'll see a woman pull up in an escalade on 22s
with some rap booming on the subs in the back. there's plenty of transactions
of welfare cards being used in strip clubs, people using food stamps to buy
tobacco, beer and other shit they arent supposed to, I have seen this with my
own eyes. I know a woman that has rejected several pay raises because it
would cut her welfare check which paid her more than her job

it's a shame that many tht need, cannot get the help that they've payed for
but those that arent supposed to are collecting to the tune of 22 billion and
many game the system just to enhance their lifestyle

I agree, the welfare system actually encourages out of wedlock child births, which in many ways destroys the family unit.

If the safety net (welfare) was not there in the first place, the irresponsible behavior would also decrease.

Certain segments of the population have become experts on exploiting the system, I guess everyone has a talent.

if you were not busy listening to the occutards you may have caught the
story, the hundreds of them. you may have even caught the stories about how
most of the banks that took bailouts didnt want one but the bama
administration forced it on them and then decided to force banks to accept
certain terms for repayment which has resulted in the banks increasing the
interest rates for credit, banking and checking fees as well as a lot of
other shit instead of being able to issue stocks as many wanted to do which
would have left all the bank fees the same

Obama Wants to Control the Banks
There's a reason he refuses to accept repayment of TARP money.

If the banks are forced to keep TARP cash -- which was often forced on them in the first place -- the Obama team can work its will on the financial system to unprecedented degree. That's what's happening right now.

take a look at Fisker Automobiles and Solyndra, Mr. Green Energy is all about

corporate welfare to companies that couldnt survive in the market, you should

Oh that's awesome... So as a taxpayer I would like to cash in my share of the $4 billion. When will i be receiving my check?

:throwtomato:

On a serious note, I'm no economist but this whole situation smell fishy doesn't it? It is not surprising that the Wall Street Journal, Reuters and NYT would maximize on such story. However, how can we be sure they are not playing dirty games as usual? Nobody was convicted for the 2008 crisis in which there was a real threat of total collapse of large financial institutions... I mean, we can't pretend it's all right and this time they will be straight playing on the books. Am I stupid to think like that?
