Im about to make tie-dyes, what color dyes should i get?

Im going to buy like 4 or 5 color dyes from the best website imo.

What's your favorit colors to make a tie-dye?


I was planning on getting red blue yellow. with those 3 colors i can make other ones such as purple and green.


What colors do u suggest go the best together?

My fav tie dye colors are when someone mixes black blue and green, it looks so cool. Not mixing the dyes, but with a black/blue/green swirl pattern.

I'd go with the primary colors just because you can use them for every color in between
mixing red and blue doesn't always produce the best purple though

I like tye dye that follows a pleasant color scheme and has a unique, appealing design. My personal favorite tye dyes that I own are two different designs with blue/green/yellow combinations and another with a fading yellow/orange/red spectrum. I generally dislike obnoxiously colored/clashing tye dye and tye dye that is primarily white or blank. However, any coloring can be really cool if the design is cleanly done. Unique designs or a really pleasing color palette are the only two things that will inspire me to purchase. If you're going to make tye dye and do well selling it, it needs to be something someone couldn't easily execute on their own. :yesnod:

thanks for the tips. Red blue yellow and green souunds good...

i will be attempting to make some cool designs as well. such as the double spiral, the mushroom, a peace sign, and a pot lead.

mimosa makes purple dye. depending on how much bark you use i imagine you can get every shade of black-purple-pink
