Where can I find contacts like this?

Does anybody know any legit sites that sell top of the line contact lenses for costumes and such?

I searched Google images for a while and I finally found one I think fits my script. I like this one.

You can buy them at the eye doctor,at least then one I go to :shrug:

In shady cities, like the one I live in (Newark) you can buy them on the street, but it's illegal to do that. Contacts are considered prescription only by the FDA and the only legal way to get them is through an optometrist or ophthalmologist. They run about $70-90 per lens. 

There is good reasoning behind banning them from public sales without prescription too, many people don't know proper handling of contacts and get fungal or bacterial infections that lead to them becoming blind or needing a corneal transplant.

So how do people use them in the film industry?

Hell, I went to a Halloween party and a person had a pair of white ones in.

People in the film industry get them from doctors. The person at your Halloween party probably bought them from an illegal street vendor.

They also have non prescription lenses that you can get from the eye doctors

Yeah, most of those "costume" lenses are non prescription(meaning no vision correction, not that you can get them without seeing a doctor). I used to have a pair of the whiteout ones, but they didn't work very well because my eyes are very dark brown. They're also uncomfortable as fuck.

I just realized that those are scleral contacts (as opposed to corneal contacts). Those are incredibly uncomfortable and very difficult to put in, most likely you'd have to have a doctor show you how to do it.

It is best if you goto an eye doctor to get them. Everyone's eyes are shaped differently and if you get a generic pair, they may or may not fit you and in some cases can scratch your eyeball. Though, if you go the cheap route, good luck.
