Ill check out family groove company.
I have seen Umphree's and Tea Leaf Green. They are both good.
You should make the trip to see Creek. They are playing in Colorado pretty soon. Check out the website, they are doing a few shows far from here... maybe they will be closer to you. Its well worth the drive even if its a few hours, get a hotel room and take a cab to the show.

Definitely, I have to see them, who knows how long they will continue playing. Denver is a hike... i'll see what i can do in the summer, i am pretty much stuck to the midwest during the school semester.
Railroad Earth is another band i've been getting into lately. Kinda bluegrass/rock/jam... they are really good.

Thanks Tealeaf. I think I have heard of Flowmotion. I will check them out tomorrow after work.
Clockwork, I have seen both of them. Dopapod kills it every time. They played for like 6 hours at a festival I was at. Sick band.
Pop a dose yo, Hell yeah, saw them at vibes last year, after 3 or 4 days of party and no sleep, they still had my ass up there dancing away. :rastana:

Here you go dude, don't know if these have been mentioned probably not but anyway... Consider the source!,  The Big Dirty,  Juggling Suns, Dopapod , Tera Melos (not really a jam band but they jam harder then any jamband and are the trippiest sons of bitches out there) Dakini is pretty good. Those are a few.

Pgroove fucking blows anyways.  The only reason I went to their shows was because minimal good music ever comes to florida.

repping the st. louis independent radio, nice!

KDHX always has the best bands. If you go to their website, check out stumble in the dark. It's their jam band hour. They put their latest two shows up on their website to stream (along with track listings)

My current favorites that are starting to get bigger are Perpetual Groove, Dopapod and Kung Fu.  For smaller acts in NJ area we have Turtle Soup, The juggling Suns, and a lot of really good dead cover bands.  What are some bands you like now?

I have heard PG and I like them from what I remember, Dopapod I have been seeing for a while, they hit a bunch of the fests I go to. And I know the manager for Kung Fu, They are amazing. I have heard Turtle Soup and Juggling Suns.
I love Max Creek, I see Marks Brothers, Dead On (GD cover band that rocks it right), Sometimes I see Ryan Montbleau, Jeff Pevar and Guitarness.
I listen to lots of jammy stuff, funk, blues, reggae, and many other genres.
As far as bands that I like now, You could check out my music collection in my sig. There is too much really to list. If you are interested in anything on the list, let me know and we can work out a trade of some kind.

PGroove fucking blows? You rep two of the worst bands on the scene harder than anyone here. Brock is extremely talented and PGroove is only going on hiatus. Once Brock gets his shit together I know they will continue to play.

OP, check out The Indobox. They play a lot of covers but they have some originals also. Some really talented guys.
