Need to get to Kings Canyon again soon

Restless and need to be amazed for a little while. Thinking of going to Kings Canyon in the near future. Maybe wait till March and work a morel hunt into it. Anyone else have any spring trips planned?

I would also like to get to Kings Canyon. My good friend Kremlin was planning a backpacking trip there a year or two ago that fell through, unfortunately. Fortunately, I can confidently state that it's not a matter of IF, only a matter of when.

Meanwhile, I'm traveling back and forth between Boulder, CO and southern California several times over the next two months. Sometime between March and May, will likely hop in the car with the sweet honey and start out northbound, perhaps to travel the central coastline through Santa Barbara, Big Sur, Santa Cruz, visiting friends in San Fran and cruising into wine country, then visiting family in Oregon and possibly even extending the travel all the way to Vancouver if time permits. The only potential wrench to making such an extended road trip is a proposed family trip to Estonia and Sweden in June that may make it difficult to take such a long time away from the home.

At any rate, here are some pic's from a backpacking trip I did with three friends up the Tuolumne River Valley in the Yosemite back country. It was fucking awesome.

We're planning on touring some federal prisons for women in the mid-west and see if there are some women there to date! Gonna score, baby!

Those places you and Geokills posted are insane. I love the SouthEast US, but that is amazing... And some Idiot the other day I heard rambling off about what sort of Natural Wonders or natural beauty does the US have? Fricken un-educated foreigner. ( a rare case)

'05 r1200gs. she's great but maxes out at 130mph which is pretty lame.
