like I said, the truth hurts, you say I'm being a dick but I'm simply laying
out the facts, for close to 6 years people have been posting up these
petitions and for 6 years people have attached their names to them, for 6
years politicians have ignored them, obama disregarded the fact that in 2008
6 of the top 10 questions on his own petition site were relating to
marijuana legalization, a couple of months later he addressed it after a
second round by ridiculing legalization advocates and then stating that his
administration has no intention if pushing for legalization

call me a dick, I dont care but wake up and realize that the only people

The other road block everyone faces is advocating weed many times ends up in job termination followed by other bad media. The ignorance is ridiculous...

encourage people to hound their legislators, one guy representing ten
thousand is useless, ten thousand individuals doing what that one
representative did is more effective

get in their faces, remind then that their reelection depends on them
addressing and supporting our cause

The group I knew did exactly that. They wrote letters. Campaigned everywhere they could. Fighting the politicians in the south is like trying to knock down a brick wall with a little hammer. I remember helping out one time. Was giving away flyers and people just completely refused to listen. Not to mention the cannabis reform here needs a great lobbyist as well.

Honestly I've given up on the south. They are set in their ways here. That's why I can't wait to get out. Religion run's rampant. The southern states are going to be the last to do any kind of drug reform. I really hope I'm wrong tho and change does happen soon.
