can anyone tell me some rad things to do in Thailand

planning a trip to thailand in acouple of months with the GF. We have already planned to go see some ping pong shows, but mostly we want to do some laid back shit, see some culture, do some food tours and see some cool sights. gonna do the kwai river and tiger temple and phi phi island... can anyone recommend any more cool stuff to do with a lady friend thats chilled and cooool?

go climb the kokoda trail, and travel across to cambodia to see ang'kor wat

Check out some nice nightclubs to relax, find ones that have professional muay thai fights.  Everyone just sits around on the floor, drinks beer, and bets and cheers as two bad ass fucking pro muay thai guys go at it.  If your going to Pattaya beach, try the Sandbox bar, or Fantasy (If they are still there.)  I'm thinking of a trip to Pattaya in about a year.

from what i hear just stay away from drugs.
My friend was telling me some shitty hororstories about his stay in thailand.
He was there to visit family for holidays, and said he wouldn't go if it wasnt for them.

yeah we dont really want to do too much partying, more check out some chill sights and stuff. heard the boxing stuff was sick to check out, so thats on the cards. may do a beach party or so i guess, i know a couple of people who basically live in pattaya.

Well if at any point you feel like getting shitfaced get one of the thai buckets. It's a bucket filled with a can of coke, a 5th of rum, a shitload of ice, and a bottle of redbull (which still has ephedrine in it...) for something like $5-6

Eat the street food. Its incredibly cheap and generally amazing.

The Full Moon Party is a monthly thing thats supposedly one of the best parties in the entire world. Go like...5ish days before though otherwise the prices of rooms pretty much double and apparently online reservations tend to have minimum stay lengths.

The Chatuchak  weekend markets in Bangkok. You're pretty much able to find anything here for really low prices....and just shop in general. Thailand is dirt cheap if you're lazy and even cheaper if you can haggle.

Take a water taxi down the river in Bangkok.

Apparently they make incredibly nice movie theaters.

Professional Muay Thai obviously

Travel around to all the temples Thailand has.

Take the day train from bangkok to chiang mai.

Try out the skytrains in bangkok.

- Everything my cousin that went to thailand for 6 weeks a couple years ago told me.
