Don't you see how that's completely replacing a word and changing the entirety of what you said? I get it if you didn't mean everyone, but that is what you said and just changing the first word is changing what you said entirely, and what you meant in context of the reply.

i know i need some sort of substantial care-to-do redundancy in my life, to please idiots that need people like me to function in their dirty world.

i said, WHY DO I NEED TO MAKE PROFIT in order to meet a normal standard of living? we already have enough stuff anyways. we have enough toys, tools, food, everything... so what else is left for me to do? and WHY do i have to do what has already been done, in order to make ANY decent wages? i like making music... everybody likes music... why are musicians treated with such a low regard? hmm? (watch the trolling now)

well, i'd agree with you on that one... except for that i brought it in to discussion. i might have mentioned it, but only because it was already happening.

but yeah, this thread is rampant with stupidity. you guys showed it up though, with you retarded trolling. it could have been interesting but instead it's got all the shit eating pundits roaming through, making their money grubbing, gun loving sentiments heard. and nothing else, cause you'll troll it into the ground.

Like I said, I gave too much credit.

The context remains the same, merely the wording should have been better.

Want to know my solution?  I'm sure no one does because I'm a bleeding heart liberal but I'll share anyways: slash work time in half. This will ensure everyone is employed and will prepare our economy for the exponentially increasing amount of automation we're already seeing that eliminates some of the need for a labor force. In their new found free time, Americans can focus more on scientific, academic and creative pursuits thus bettering our populous overall, and hopefully generating some more critical thinkers, rather than having everyone constantly slaving away most days of the year at poorly paying jobs that don't contribute anything very meaningful and most people hate anyway. :yesnod:

Oh my fucking zappa .  Your idea to increase prosperity is to decrease work?  In their new found free time the idiots who can't find work will not be capable of focusing on scientific, academic or creative pursuits.  Because they're idiots.  Or do you intend to forbid useful people from working as many hours as they want?  Because if you do you are a fascist.

Most people aren't unable be able to find a job due to being idiots, the number of jobs has decreased compared to the workforce. Not everyone who isn't so "accomplished" as you think you are is somehow mentally deficient or inferior otherwise. You got lucky enough that your little construction buisness succeeded while many of other guys just like you tried and failed due to the economic climate they found themselves in. Sorry to burst your little bubble in which you're some special macho man who succeeds fully based upon his own worth, but you got lucky with your health, geographical location, skill, etc and knew what to do with that luck, that's all. :braindamage:

Vacation time = fascism?:lol: Do you think you'd have to force most people to work less time in exchange for a similar wage so that employment is more available? I don't think so.

Is having no school in a state in the summer making it so teachers can't work for three months fascist?

While I'm sure there are many who don't, I've never known a teacher who didn't have some work in the summer.

School should be year round. The brains turn to pudding during the off time.

Go ahead and work zero hours if you want.  Fucking starve.  This was JoieDeVivre's idea;  "slash work time in half".  Who the fuck does she think she is telling me I can't work 60 hours a week if I want?  I will say this.  Government imposed labor rules requiring extra pay rates if you go over a certain amount per week are bullshit.
