Williamsi Possible mutation?

Hey guys first post here, i have been searching for information on lophophora mutations, particularly pertaining to williamsi, i think i might have aqquired a williamsi that is monstrose, it appears to shoot pups off that are completely separate from the main plant, and has an abnormal growth pattern, being slightly stretched for its size, i thought it was simply a caespitosa but i have a couple of those and they keep shooting pups from the areola, which from my knowledge is normal a caespitosa, but i cant seem to find anything similar to what i have unless im looking at a monstrose variation of a loph, it has the nice wooly areola and the standard rib pattern, colour and count that my other williamsi do but is pupping at a very young age very rapidly and the pups hve thier own taproots, i dont know if thier all joined but i would assume so because of the pot i keep them in is reasonably small, i will post pics when my lights kick on as i do not like being disturbed while i sleep and im sure my plants dont either, any help would be appreciated as while knowledge on cacti is readily avaialable in many places and i readily absorb it with gusto i think i might be dealling with a specialised situation which frankly i have no clue about and cant find refrence for identification, thanks everybody
