idk, sometimes it seems like too much. the culture, the bongs, the pipes, the strains, the hot babes with mary jane.. seems like too much at times.

it's a beautiful and sacred plant, we should smoke it, not advertise it, no?...:tongue:

Yeah potheads are pretty gay. 420 fests are like sanctuaries for everything you mentioned. They are terrible. It's like a gathering of the most boring fools on earth.

That's the problem with the counterculture. People don't get it and have to make something out of it - some make a religion out of it, some go for money, and others make a holiday out of it.
It's all monetary or cliché. Just live and let live...

I agree about the culture, you wouldn't know that I blaze by looking at me or my clothes or my apartment.

I find the wook crowd and the girls with dreadlocks and hemp clothes to be kind of gross. I dig the 420 fests for the ability to smoke in front of cops though, even if it is kind of childish.

Yeah it's whack. I went through that phase. When I was dealing I a became obsessed. I never wore shirts or had posters or anything I just smoked a shit load and read about it all the time and made sure EVER conversation I had was about weed. It was lame as hell...

If you going to obsess about drugs at least obsess about LSD :tongue:

That's the problem though, drugs are very fun to obsess about because they're so damn interesting. LSD has an amazing story behind it, you couldn't make that shit up if you tried so ofc everyone loves it. MDMA's story is quite fascinating as well. I've never studied much about marijuana except the laws surrounding it and the movement to legalize it, but I can see it happening one day. Especially if I get into the biz once it's legal.

Doesn't mean I'm going to put a Bob Marley tapestry on my wall and get shag carpet put in though. It's my favorite plant, but that's all it is IMO.

Is it just me or is the weed leaf symbol just trashy ? I dread seeing posters, shirts, stickers, tattoos etc that have the pot leaf on it.  It's just trashy. And I dumpster food from the trash but the pot leaf is even to trashy for me.

But irl I'm cool about it all. I'm only bitching because it's an online rant. If someone wants to shroud themselves with weed paraphernalia and talk about dank nugs all day then more power to them. It's better than being one of those people that has zero interest in anything in the world. That is a whole new level of dull that just absolutely kills me dead. But whatever people do... I'll love them anyways. If they are good, fun and nice then they are cool in my book ! :smile:

I don't find the weed leaf trashy really. I wouldn't wear it on my clothes or anything but I have one on my weed jar and it doesn't bother me.

I'm older than you are and I know what you mean about keeping your shit together, I hate the stereotype that pot smokers are lazy shitheads and the people who reinforce that image irk the shit out of me.

I hang with a bunch of entrepreneurs and executives and I'd say that 75% of us smoke on at least a weekly basis. Those who don't aren't seemingly opposed to it either, they just prefer boozin to blazin. If I didn't have weed to relax with there's no way I could handle the stress of self employment, and I wouldn't have had the revelations that got me to this position to begin with.
