The more time passed, the more proletarian the internet became. The cost of computers went down. The cost of internet service went down. The operating systems and software became easier to use. Basically, the internet became more accessible to those of low intelligence and income. Also, the internet became a part of popular culture as opposed to a niche.

fast forward to today, and you have a bunch of piss-poor, dumbass rednecks posting their stupid ignorant bullshit. They outnumber the old school users ten to one. So, instead of being a tightly knit community where the average user has an IQ of at least 130, the internet is now basically at the same level as a pool hall full of drunken rednecks.

but the way I see it, the problem isn't the internet. Its people. People are morons, and most of them should never have been born.

This is what happens when you bring 'power to the people'. They abuse it, corrupt it, and subject it to mob rule.

the same thing happened to a lot of other shit. raves. remember raves that were underground, and you could trust everyone? Women could dance around naked without fear of getting taken advantage of? It use to be this exclusive, hidden environment where everyone was rich and well-educated. The second that shit became popular, it was all over. Now you have all these ghetto thugs showin up, trying to rob and rape everyone. You got drunken hillbillies tryin to score some easy pussy. No one trusts anyone.
