I enjoy long walks with nature (especially on shrooms) and listening to music.  I'm excellent at living and enjoying the moment of every moment, if that makes sense at all.

--------------------
Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

According to what my workmates say, the thing I do best is tracking down and fixing bugs in various types of computer software. But I can't honestly say that I enjoy doing that. At best it's a pain in the ass that can be briefly turned into an intellectual exercise...

My friends say I have a natural talent for growing plants, and that is something I enjoy doing. But I think what I currently enjoy the most is gaining new knowledge and sharing it with others.

Having sex and smoking pot is also enjoyable of course, but it gets boring if I do it all the time.

And I have learned from my psychedelic experience that the most important thing I can do is to manifest Love, so naturally I enjoy doing that. But unfortunately that's not something I'm excellent at. :oogle:

I enjoy playing bass and guitar and am excellent at it (no confidence issues here, hehe)
I consider it my lifelong pursuit, albeit it is part of a larger one (I don't have a short description, but basically my band, getting "there", my pursuit of musical expression and having it sustain me). I like to think of myself as a bass guitarist as one of my main roles, if nothing else, I can always claim to be one that plays guitar. Not to mention the fact that I am damn good at it (hey, can't deny the truth... and i'd rather not think badly myself, thinking I suck actually dramatically decreases my playing ability). I can play anything I come across, from Steve Harris' fast runs, to Cliff Burton's holy godness (watch out for Anasthesia, that song is a fucking bitch. I know i can play it all, but it is so fast i can't play along with the song off the tabs, i have to memorize it first, and have not dedicated myself to it). I've even pulled up some Jaco Pastorius on Guitar Pro, and didn't consider it a challenge (however, he plays a fretless bass, which is a completely different world. i also don't like his style).
I consider my technique one of the most valuable things in the world, and try to work on all aspects of my playing (speed, note selection, staying on time, etc.). I keep my approach well-rounded, I don't always play fast, etc. I also play with a pick, it seems to be a better approach for the playing of hard rock/metal (especially when I have a love for playing REALLY fast sometimes), but I also work on my finger bass playing, and can hold my own in that respect.
I play as much as I can, hours and hours when possible, and cannot wait until the time that it will sustain me, and when it will be what I am known for (can't actually do the band thing right now, as I am going to Norway for a year as an au pair). Actually, Norway will improve my playing and all that ten fold, from having the time to play three hours a day every day, to being in the scene where some of my favourite music comes from, including being able to sit in with a band every once and awhile.
I also take this approach to my tastes in music in general, and have learned a lot about the whole music world that I am setting out into. I can not begin to describe all of this, but basically, I decided what I wanted to do, found what is necessary to do it, formed a sort of idea as to how I want to go about doing this, and now that the time has arrived, actually started doing it.
Anyways, sorry for the story, but it seemed to fit. And if anyone wants to tap into some of my knowledge (its all about the specialization, my friends), I will be glad to divulge. PM me.
Peace.

Rhizoid, may I take this opportunity to thank you for doing just that? You are consistently one of the most insightful and knowledgeable individuals who posts here and I really enjoy reading your shit. You should consider writing a book, if you haven't already. Keep up the right work my friend.

I also really enjoy absorbing new information, piecing together my little context-bound slice of the truth. That is probably where maximum enjoyment and ability intersect in my life. I am quite lazy however, especially about the sharing part, and have many interests (such as my beautiful girlfriend Lisa) which are not of much relevance to the "project," so I spend more time absorbing than sharing. Nothing wrong with that; I am young and life is long, and there is time to kill today. I do not feel completely qualified, yet, to speak with much authority on many subjects, but I feel more and more like I have a genuine clue about important mysteries of our existence, knowledge the vast majority of people seem to currently lack. Totally an ego trip, of course, but it's a lot of fun for me to watch my knowledge-synthesis take more and more definite shape. Ken Wilber and Noam Chomsky have been excellent guides for me in my attempt to figure out what the heck is really going on, I highly recommend both of them to anyone with even a slightly opened mind.

Great topic, btw.

Was this for me?
I enjoy creating music, that is my passion.
I enjoy spending time with my woman, that is my other passion. Love, mind-blowing sex.
I enjoy talking with friends, smoking cannabis, and listening to music.
I also enjoy playing music.
I enjoy learning and teaching, I enjoy the physical world, trees, air, water, fire, humans, animals, plants..I enjoy the spiritual world, beings, light, wisdom, energy, formlessness. I enjoy coming here and connecting with the shroomerites. I really enjoy the sun.. and the moon.

Music drives me, love sustains me, the path guides me. I am here to learn, spread love, and teach harmony.

I'm generally excellent at everything I enjoy.

Believe me, man, I'll be there for the Revoultion, too, my band will be the age's equivalent to the Beatles...
I listened to some of your music, by the way (the Insanity instrumental). I'll listen to more when I get the chance, not too bad!
Peace.

If your band is going to be this age's equivalent to the Beatles.. mine is going to be the equivalent to Metallica. Let's join forces.. are you in a band now? Touring? We'll be on tour by the end of the year most likely.. watch it go!
