I find that BS is doing just the opposite; he is pulling the underlying truths from the story rather than speaking for Icke himself.

Personally, I agree with most everything BS has said. He has been well stated and purposeful in this discussion. Rather than taking the cold shoulder of "since Icke is speaking on an unfounded topic and making assertions, he and his tale must be fictional", why not try to understand the value in what is being said?

When Icke himself is asked, he maintains that he means it all literally. I was watching this one video where someone was accusing him of using "reptilians" as a code for jewish people, and he made it quite clear that when he talks about shape-shifting reptilians, he literally means shape-shifting reptilians.

I did see that video of Icke being accused of meaning "the Jews."  I guess he was being harassed by the Anti-Defamation League or something. 

So do you think he just said he meant everything literally to avoid civil action in that case, on the chance that if he tried to explain that it was all allegory he could accidentally bring up "the Jews" when talking about bloodlines or something?

Of course not, but how similar is this to Jesus? Who are you to say that Jesus' words contained no truth? Although few and far between, I'd digress to say some values which he put forth are indisputably true.

Anyway, it's an ongoing investigation and by no means near complete.

Now, can someone really quickly and painlessly state the name of the video (series) so I can see what you guys are supposed to be discussing?

No, I was just unaware we were talking about soldiers here. The reptilian theory is usually applied to the elites and those in government in my experience.
